Al-Arafatul Muqadasah Kindergarten – Building Strong Muslim Foundations

Welcome to the Kindergarten section of Al-Arafatul Muqadasah Islamic  Academy. We understand that  entrusting  your child to us is a sacred trust (Amanah).  Our Kindergarten is not just a playgroup;  it is the first formal step in your child's Islamic and academic  journey. We provide a safe, loving, and stimulating environment  where your child learns to love Allah, respects our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and discovers the joy of learning.

What Makes Us Different
At our Kindergarten, we blend the Nigerian Early Childhood Curriculum with authentic  Islamic  values.
Qur'anic Foundation: Daily  memorization of short Surahs, and learning Duas for daily activities (eating, sleeping, entering the toilet).
Adab & Character: We teach Islamic manners (Adab) – kindness to friends, respect for elders and honesty.
Arabic Language: Introduction to basic Arabic vocabulary through poems and play.
Prayer Awareness: Children are taught the meaning of Salah and practice in a fun and encouraging way.

Our Learning Approach
We use play-based learning to develop the whole child: Mind, Body, and Soul.

Our Caregivers (The Staff)
Our teachers are not just qualified educators; they are role models. They are trained in Child Psychology and Safeguarding. More importantly, they possess Akhlaq (good character) and treat every child with the patience and love they deserve.

Parent-School Partnership
We believe that a child succeeds when the school and home work together. Our programmes  include:
· Homework Support: Simple activities for parents to do with their children to reinforce learning.
· Parent-Teacher Forums: Termly meetings to discuss progress.
